Subject: New Chapter Fundraiser – Continuing Our Dream

Due to unforeseen circumstances completely out of our control, we will be closing our new brick-and-mortar location.
This decision breaks our hearts. We are at a significant loss—financially and emotionally—as we poured everything we had into this space, this dream, and this next chapter.

It’s painful to say that sometimes the wrong people win, and a dream was crushed.
But we refuse to let this define us,
change who we are, or take away the heart behind what we do.
While this chapter is ending, our vision and purpose remain strong.

Our goal now is to move forward by purchasing a mobile cupcake and treat trailer—something that is fully ours and owned.
This will allow us to continue operating with much lower overhead, eliminate the burden of high rent, and rebuild in a more sustainable and secure way.

With a mobile trailer, we will be able to:
• Participate in vendor events and pop-ups
• Accept invitations to community and private events
• Continue giving back to our community
• Build a steady and reliable source of income

Any funds donated will go directly toward the purchase and build-out of the trailer and this new beginning.
Our hope is to have everything ready and operating by this summer.

We want our community to know that we are still here. Our cottage bakery will remain open, offering:
• Custom treat orders
• Scheduled cottage bakery pick-up days
• Facebook sales
• Delivery when available
• Cake It Forward Mission Still Goes On!

Every donation, share, prayer, and word of encouragement helps us take another step forward.
We are endlessly grateful for the love and support our community has shown us through every high and low.

This chapter hurt—but it did not break us.
Thank you for believing in us and walking beside us.

💜 A New Chapter, Rooted in Faith, Resilience & Gratitude 💜

As this year closed,
my heart feels heavy—but also incredibly full. This past season has tested us in ways I never imagined. From losing our home due to ice damming and having to rebuild and start over, to facing medical difficulties, unexpected setbacks, and the weight of life simply happening… there were moments we wondered how we would keep going.

But through it all, we were reminded of something powerful: when one door closes, God opens another—sometimes not right away, sometimes not in the way we expected—but always with purpose.

This year taught us that resilience isn’t about never breaking… it’s about choosing to stand back up when everything feels uncertain. It’s about trusting God when the path doesn’t make sense, and believing that even in the hardest chapters, He is still working behind the scenes.

We are beyond grateful. Grateful for protection. Grateful for strength we didn’t know we had. Grateful for the lessons—especially the painful ones. And grateful for the reminder that our village doesn’t always come from where we expect it to… sometimes it comes from within, and sometimes it’s made up of friends who slowly, beautifully become family.

To our friends, family, and customers—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for being there from the very beginning. Thank you for walking with us through every win, every loss, every hardship, and every precious memory. Thank you for believing in us when we felt broken.

You didn’t just support a business—you supported a family. You prayed for us, checked on us, showed up, encouraged us, and reminded us that we were never alone. The friendships we’ve built, the bonds we’ve formed, and the love we’ve been surrounded by will stay with us forever.

As we step into 2026, we do so with open hearts and renewed faith. We don’t know exactly what lies ahead—but we trust that God has a plan. We are embracing this new journey, believing that what’s ahead is greater than what we’ve left behind.
