Hi everyone. I appreciate those of you who continue to reach out to me asking me to bake for you. However, I won’t be keeping up with my bakery anymore as I don’t have the time I once did, and my baked goods aren’t nearly as popular as they once were. I will still be taking orders from time to time but I won’t be active on this page anymore, and will be taking down my website soon. If you would like me to bake anything for you, you can still reach out to me on my main account: Shelby Lynn Cook like a handful of you have been doing.

Hi everybody! I hope 2024 is off to a great start for all of you! Just wanted to give a quick update!

I’m moving in about a month, and will still be in the Des Moines area. However, I won’t be able to accept any huge or last minute orders (several dozen cookies, cupcakes, etc) between March 11-20, because I will be packing, moving and unpacking during this time and won’t have all my baking stuff out and ready to use unless I aboslutely need to for an order.

You’re still more than welcome to order things from me around this time, especially if you need goodies for St. Patty’s or anything, but just keep in mind, I may not be able to fulfill all your needs, if it’s a huge order or last minute, due to the fact I’m moving.

Thanks for all the constant support of Smiling Kitty! I’m so grateful for each and every one of you 🩵

Hi everybody! I’ve still got plenty of stuff left from last nights event if anyone is interested in taking them off my hands 🙂 The singles come in their own little packages 🙂

•4 single chocolate chip cookies - $1.50/ each**

•8 single chocolate chip rice crispy cookies - $1.50/ each (or 6 cookies for $6)**

•4 single toffee brown butter espresso cookies- $1.50/ each (or 6 cookies for $6)**

•3 6ct boxes toffee brown butter espresso cookies- $6/ box (or $10/ dozen)**

•5 single lemon blueberry cupcakes with lemon cream cheese frosting - $3.50/each (usually they’re the same price as a chocolate cupcake but this time when I made them blueberries and lemons were both EXPENSIVE so I had to adjust prices accordingly. I apologize for the inconvenience)*

•1 6ct box lemon blueberry cupcakes with lemon cream cheese frosting - $10 (see above for price reasoning)*

**Willing to sell 6 singles and a 6ct box as a dozen or 12 singles, etc, for $10, mix and match or single flavor cookie on ANY of the cookie varieties. ALSO if buying 6 cookies it’s only $6, so anything less than a dozen but more than 6 will be $6 plus single cookie(s) price 🙂

*If wanting to buy the lemon blueberry cupcakes as a package deal, I’m willing to sell them all to you for $16. I know it’s not a full dozen but I’m still willing to discount slightly 🙂

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Don’t forget Halloween is coming up in less than two weeks! This year I’m adding hocus pocus themed cookies (chocolate cookies with green “slime” oozing from them & Halloween M&M’s) and purple peanut butter blossoms to the Halloween goodies I’ve got available for purchase. Let me bake the goodies for your Halloween parties or for your own family’s Halloween treat!!!

Reminder: I’ve also got Halloween themed sugar cookies in the shapes of bats, cats, witches hats, witch’s cauldrons, pumpkins, ghosts, etc.

And as always I’ve got everything else on my website available too if you’re not wanting halloween themed goodies and would rather have chocolate chip cookies or chocolate cupcakes (for example) instead.

I’d say today has been a pretty productive day baking wise! Haven’t been able to bake as much as I’d been hoping to this summer, especially the last few weeks between work, grad school, life in general and being sick, so today was definitely very much needed 🥰
