We have some news! The ladies ministry leadership team at Northside West has decided to change the way we do MOPS this year. We will no longer have an official "MOPS" group at our location. Instead, we are creating an all-inclusive monthly meeting for women of all ages, and all walks of life called "SHE". It will be molded similarly to a MOPS meeting, but will be open to all women. We have loved our time together as a MOPS group over the past four years, but are excited for our launch of "SHE" in the fall! All are welcome, so be sure you "like" our Northside Women of West page to get all the details and be updated about our ladies ministry happenings and the launch of "SHE"!

We are so excited for our January meeting tomorrow night. We will be talking about self defense and learning some ways we as women can defend ourselves. Join us at 6pm and wear comfy clothes for the demonstration! Childcare and dinner are always included. See you there!

If you are looking for a place to go on Christmas Eve, we would love to have you join us for one of our Christmas Eve Services this Sunday at 11am or 4pm. We will have childcare for preschool age children, lots of coffee and cocoa, treats and a special visit from the "big man" in red himself thirty minutes before each service. Invite someone to come with you!

Join us for our December monthly meeting this Tuesday at 6pm. It will be our Christmas Party meeting and we will have a potluck and a gift exchange. Bring an appetizer to share and a wrapped white elephant gift (a $5 or less value) to participate in the exchange. We hope to see you Tuesday!

We enjoyed hearing from one of our local heroes with Lexington Police Department, Larry Holiday, last night! He was very informative and answered all our questions about child safety.

What a FUN kickoff to our MOPS year last night! Becky Barringer has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to books! She shared some great children's books to read to our children to help teach the fruits of the spirit. Check out the website she shared with us: www.books-to-grow-by.com for more suggestions!

We can't wait to see all our MOPS mamas and meet some new ones tomorrow! Come with an appetite! We will have dinner and hear from a reading specialist on how to teach our children character building attributes simply by reading books to them. And y'all will love the craft we have planned!
