This definitely isn’t your everyday fire pit. 🔥

I recently got to turn a large excavator bucket into a custom fire pit for a customer.

I welded the mounts back onto the bucket, used a torch to cut draft holes into the bottom of the side walls, and welded a pipe across the bottom to slightly tip the bucket forward so water wouldn’t sit inside it.

A pretty unique project, and a good example of the kind of custom welding work I enjoy taking on.

Got to knock out a couple projects for a customer recently.

The first was removing a shattered glass pane and replacing it with plexiglass, giving it a more durable option that won’t break as easily.

The second was replacing an exterior door and getting everything fitted, sealed, and finished up.

I enjoy these kinds of projects—whether it’s a repair, replacement, or something that just needs a practical solution, I’m always up for figuring it out and getting it done right.

Small ceiling project completed by Heritage Contracting.

This one started with an old, exposed wood ceiling and was transformed with new drywall and a smooth finished surface.

We handled the drywall hanging, taping, mudding, and finishing from start to finish.

Even on the smaller projects, we take pride in doing the job right and leaving the customer with a clean, finished product.

One more piece of equipment back in the field instead of headed for the scrap pile.

This mower deck came into the shop with cracked main supports that had finally given out after years of mowing rough ground. Those supports take a beating every time the mower is used, so once they crack, the damage only gets worse.

After cleaning everything up, I welded the cracks and got this deck ready for many more hours of work.

I enjoy repairs like this because they're about more than just laying a bead—they're about helping customers get more life out of the equipment they depend on.

Whether it's a mower deck, trailer, farm equipment, heavy equipment, or structural steel, if it's broken, don't assume it's beyond repair. There's a good chance I can bring it back to life.

Another portable welding job in the books on Sage Lake.

This steel seawall cap had cracked completely through, leaving the structure weak and vulnerable to more damage. Instead of tearing it apart or hauling anything to a shop, I brought the welder to the job.

I cleaned the area, pulled everything back into alignment, reinforced the break with a steel plate, and welded it back together to restore its strength.

One of the things I enjoy most about portable welding is solving problems where they happen. Whether it's on the water, on the farm, at a job site, or in your driveway, I come to you with the equipment needed to get the job done.

There's something satisfying about watching a rough opening turn into a clean, finished look.

Today I'm wrapping up some block trim work, taking the time to make sure every cut is clean and every piece fits the way it should. It's the small details that make a big difference in the finished product, and that's the standard I bring to every job.
