La Baguette Tradition 🥖

Some things can’t be rushed.

Eight years ago, when Bakery X was born, so was our sourdough starter, fed and kept alive every day since. That same starter goes into every traditional baguette we bake.

Great French flour, the right equipment and every step done properly : mixing, shaping, a long overnight fermentation, hand-scoring each loaf before it goes into the oven, and a careful bake. No shortcuts, just time and technique.

And yes, we share it: stop by anytime before 11am with a jar and take home a piece of our levain, completely free. Your mission, keep it alive, and bake something delicious.

Land O’ Lakes, we have some news. After a lot of heart and careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision not to move forward with our second location. Sometimes the numbers just don’t add up the way we hoped, and we’d rather stay true to what we do best than compromise on quality.

But here’s the good news: you can still get your Bakery X fix in Land O’ Lakes! BABE Coffee Lounge carries a selection of our pastries Tuesday through Saturday. Go say hello, grab a coffee, and enjoy a little taste of us close to home. ☕🥐

Thank you for all the excitement and support you’ve shown us. It means the world. We’ll see you at the Krate and at BABE!
