✨ Meet Mabel ✨
Before there was a bread page…
Before there were loaves cooling on the counter…
There was a jar on my kitchen shelf.
This is Mabel! My wild, living sourdough starter.
She’s flour, water, time… and a whole lot of magic.
Mabel began as a quiet experiment, something to tend while the house slept and life felt full and tender. Day by day, she grew stronger. Bubbled louder. Became steady. Alive in the old-world way our grandmothers would recognize.
She’s fed simply.
She’s patient.
She doesn’t rush.
Every loaf I bake carries her story — slow fermentation, real ingredients, hands dusted in flour, and bread made the way it used to be.
This page was born because of her.
Right now, I’m not accepting orders just yet.
I’m tending, testing, perfecting, and building something beautiful and sustainable. 🌾
