Just got back from the Maine Sportsman Show on Easter weekend. Was not too busy this year many vendors said this was their worst year money wise. The people just wern't buying just looking and taking anything Free pens, candy,keychains ect. I did sell a trash barrel I made on the 1st opening day of the show. $40.00 woo hoo I spent more on the gas to get to the show but I guess this is how you go out there and promote your products hoping you meet that one person or persons to make that 1st sale. We did get alot of great feed back on our chairs ,boxes and the main goal our panelized log cabin kits. We have a couple good leads now we wait to hear back from those leads. I was amazed at how many people looked at the boxes and opeded up the lids then closed them stearing at the boxes saying how great they where but then made the statement " I wouldn't know what to put in them!OMG Use a little common sense either you don't have to put anything or you could use them for scarfts hats mittens, recycleables,magazines,dog treats,holiday decoration ,there are so many uses for the boxes.

Markus and I and our dog Sadie went to go out and spend the night out in the cabin last night! We had head lamps and a dish of a dessert and a glass of milk along with my 9 mm walking to the cabin in the dark and smelt skunk!!!! We then yelled to our dog to stay near us as we proceeded to the cabin. Sadie started to sniff under the cabin and Markus then took his head lamp and shined it under the cabin to see if the skunk was under it. No skunk under there so he opened the door and yells run inside fast. No telling me that twice I was in seconds later as well as the dog who beat me in. We stood there and the smell got stronger and stronger! I said "I think the skunk is under the cabin the smell is coming up from the floor!" He then leans over and smells Sadie and says OMG it is the dog she did get sprayed. We then ran back to the house and bathed her in the garage the again 2 more x's in the tub. What a long night. Nerver did get aroung to eating the dessert I lost my appetite with the smell of skunk! We now call her Stinky. We will attempt this again in a few days.

Well We are all set for The Maine Sportsmans Show for this Friday, Saturday and Sunday up in Augusta. Dog is going to doggie daycare for 4 days. (She will have a blast with her dog friends) A very nice friend is house sitting for us and we are ready to get the word out there about the cabins. I have to admit we have built a awsome booth display and have all the little extras to really make our area stand out! I will be taking pictures for all of you to see incase you can't make the show. Never realized all the hard work it takes to be in a show and the cost lol.We will give you an update on our return.

We spent the night out at the camp and it was so nice, except for our dog Sadie who decided that at 12:07 a.m. she had to go out and p*e! 2 hours she wakes us up because she smells a critter outside and paces back and forth from the bed to the door. I realize that after I work today I am going to need a nap due to sleep deptrovision. Maybe the next time we stay in the cabin we leave the dog in the house!!!!!!!

We went on a field trip to CABALAS today! Got some new outfits for the Maine Spotrsmans Show that we are in promoting our new cabins. I feel like a forest ranger in my outfit,but thank god our embroidery specialist are putting on our new logo. 2weeks and 2 days before the big show! We are busy making all the cabin panels and some fun extras for the finally. Stay tuned
