Commercial bakery renovations move fast (sometimes). While commercial kitchen contractors tackled the heavy setup, Bas took on the DIY tile work and custom front ordering counter by hand.

If you haven’t met Angry Ron's Sausage at the Mount Dora Village Market or at The Pavilion at Port Orange Farmers Market yet, you’re missing out. Beyond the legendary straight face, he makes some of the most delicious Polish kielbasa, pierogies, and artisan sausages in Central Florida.

That breakfast sandwich with his grilled sausage on fresh-sliced sourdough paired with an iced matcha hit the spot last week. Market breakfast of champions!

Day 1 with the keys to our new artisan sourdough bakery in Longwood, Florida! 🗝️🥖

It started as a single sketch on paper. Today, it’s blue tape on a concrete floor. No deck ovens, no fresh sourdough loaves baking just yet… just an empty room and a dream.

Welcome to Going Dutch: The Storefront, taking you behind the scenes as The Little Dutch Bakery builds out our permanent home in Longwood!

To our market family: weekend markets aren’t going anywhere! This expansion just means more slow-fermented sourdough bread, Dutch pastries, and soon a front door to welcome you in (and big plans to fill this wall with Simply Bread Co. Ovens!).

Operation: Birthday Sourdough complete. 🥒🕵️️‍♂️🥖

A secret birthday mission requested by his dad for John, who runs our The Pavilion at Port Orange Farmers Market booth!

Naturally, we had to call in our Mount Dora Village Market neighbors, Burger & Brine, to secure the fresh dills.

One undercover parking lot rendezvous later, we folded the pickles into the dough and baked the ultimate surprise loaf.

Debrief confirmed: total wipeout on the cutting board. Happy birthday, John! 🥳

Meeting The Mount Dora Explorer at the Mount Dora Village Market today completely made our morning! 🤍

One of the greatest joys of what we do is meeting lovely, warm, unique people in the community who bring so much genuine light with them. It was so much fun chatting all things sourdough and hearing firsthand about her Mount Dora Explorer adventures!

And can we talk about style? She and her sweet pup were hands down the best-dressed duo at Sunset Park today: those matching vibes completely brightened our entire day. 🐾✨
