Unlocking the front door of a new house is magic, but breaking fresh bread inside it is how you truly make it yours. 🥖🏡✨

Closing day comes with so much excitement, new keys, and an overwhelming stack of boxes. But right after the doors lock and the world goes quiet, there is that very first moment where you stand in a new kitchen and take a deep breath. ☕🌾

Local realtors Ronnie Spector and Will LaValle, Realtor wanted their buyer to feel truly welcomed in that exact moment. They asked us to assemble a housewarming basket filled with fresh sourdough loaves, sweet rolls, scones, cookies, and care cards so she didn’t have to rush through a single bite. 🧺🤍

Baking for people’s milestones is a sacred thing to us. To know that our hands shaped the bread someone breaks on their very first morning in a new space, that is the whole reason we light the ovens every day.

Learning to embrace a quiet moment... 🤍

A soft reminder to turn off the mental to-do list, sip the hot tea, and actually enjoy the life you are working so hard to build.

If you don’t see my face out at our market booth for the next couple of weeks, I wanted to share a little update: I recently had surgery and am officially in recovery mode!

NOTHING changes for our weekend markets or local sourdough deliveries!

My incredible husband and our head baker, Bas, is completely in his element—holding down the ovens, steering the ship, and making sure every single sourdough loaf, focaccia, and sweet treat comes out baked to absolute perfection.

We are lucky to have a small and fabulous team to help us at the markets and for our delivery route so there won’t be an interruption for our sourdough community.

Truthfully, I just miss seeing all of your faces at the market! I love talking to all of you, catching up, and hearing your life updates so much. I can’t wait to see you again soon!

Anyone who knows me knows I am not one to sit still. This has definitely been a forced pause—but I am slowly learning to embrace it! For now, I’m on light duty, handling the little details behind the scenes, packing treats, and keeping everything running smoothly from home while my body heals. 🌾✨

Receiving this gorgeous mail from Iga from was the exact gentle reminder I needed to just sit still, breathe, and let myself rest. 💌
