Truly, I have been here the whole time, but this 30 year old doesn’t have the mental capacity to work a business Instagram account. 😜

Over the years Christmas has lost some of its *magic*. It took me a hot second to realize it was because I was trying to make everything special for my family. I wanted to fit in Santa, our elf, cookies, movies, lights, pajamas, and every other little thing Instagram tells me I have to do. I hear many other mom’s feeling the burn out of this season too. A beautiful thing about Jesus is he invites us to rest in him. In fact, this advent season is for just that.

Do your thing. Keep your traditions. You aren’t going to die and go to hell if your kid currently knows more about Santa than he does Jesus. It’s okay. But make room for Jesus this week. He will fulfill every empty, exhausted, overwhelmed ounce of your being if you allow Him to. ❤️
