Grey Goose Gourmet

Grey Goose Gourmet Pepper jellies made with fresh, simple and locally sourced ingredients. That is when the experimenting began! Thank you for supporting my business.

What began as a family obsession and ideal gift for anyone, a kitchen tradition after the pepper garden harvest, has evolved (quite quickly!) into Grey Goose Gourmet. After one-too-many eye rolling, jaw aching, goodness-filled, pepper jelly bites, I decided it would be a crime to not make my pepper jelly available to everyone! So far, in addition to Original and Hot, I have created thirteen new fl

avors (all with a little to a lot of bite). These pepper jellies are made, jarred, and labeled in small batches out of the owner's kitchen in Wayne, Maine. Fresh, simple, and locally bought and grown ingredients are used when they are available. When the harvest is ripe peppers out of our own family garden are used. When you buy our pepper jelly you are buying not only a delicious ingredient, but the transparency that the jelly was made in a clean, state certified kitchen, from fruits and vegetables that are used at their peak stage of ripeness with eco-friendly ingredients. Buying a jar from us is the single way we expand this small company. This allows us to continue making pepper jelly with simple ingredients for you and your friends to experience. Please tell us what you think of our jellies on our page. It is the simplest way to thank us and we greatly appreciate it. If you haven’t already, “like” this page to see the behind the scenes and into our company! Sandra Dwight-Barris

Tuesday nights don’t have to be ordinary. ❤️

Tonight’s family gathering featured an appetizer that was inspired by a creative couple, jeffandlaurenshow, I saw on social media who prepared something similar on their backyard grill. Our plans changed, so I adapted it for the stovetop and oven—and it turned out absolutely delicious!

Warm brie topped with Grey Goose Gourmet’s Hot Orange Pineapple Rosemary Pepper Jelly, a drizzle of honey, a touch of balsamic, and buttery skillet-cooked peaches, served with toasted baguette slices and pita chips.

Sweet, savory, creamy, and just the right hint of heat. It disappeared quickly, which is always a good sign!

It’s always fun finding inspiration, putting your own spin on it, and sharing good food with family around the table.

Taking a little time this morning to cook up more pepper jelly before heading back out to the garden.

Today it’s FROG Pepper Jelly—Fig, Raspberry, Orange, and Ginger—a combination that has become one of my top sellers. It seems like I’m always making another batch, which is a good problem to have!

While the jars cool on the counter, the garden is calling. This time of year, the work never really stops—tending and weeding, making jelly, labeling jars, and getting ready for the next market and festival. It’s all part of the process, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you for supporting small-batch, handcrafted products and making it possible for me to keep doing what I love. ❤️

🌼 Garden moment of the day. 🌼

This beautiful yellow peony is one of many blooming in our gardens right now. I couldn’t resist placing it in this charming swan basket for the porch table. While Grey Goose Gourmet is known for pepper jellies, flowers have always held a special place in my heart.

June in Maine is simply magical. 💛

Whoopie Pies, Pepper Jelly & a Perfect Maine Day! ☀️🥧🫑

Norman is representing Grey Goose Gourmet today at the annual Maine Whoopie Pie Festival at the Piscataquis Valley Fairgrounds in Dover-Foxcroft—an event we never want to miss!

It’s another gorgeous Maine day, and the fairgrounds are filled with energy, delicious aromas, and smiling faces. With well over 100 artisans and approximately 75 bakers from across the state, there’s no shortage of creativity, craftsmanship, and incredible treats to enjoy.

From classic whoopie pies to unique baked creations, visitors have plenty of opportunities to sample some of Maine’s finest flavors. And of course, Norman is there sharing samples of our small-batch pepper jellies and helping folks discover new favorite combinations.

If you’re looking for a fun Saturday outing, there’s still time! The festival runs until 4:00 PM and is absolutely worth the drive.

Come hungry, bring your friends, and enjoy a true Maine tradition! Maine Whoopie Pie Festival

Good morning from the Boothbay Farmers Market! 🌿
It’s an overcast Maine morning, but thankfully no rain. I’m here until noon with 13 pepper jelly varieties, and I couldn’t resist picking up my first local strawberries of the season from Goranson Farm. 🍓 Nothing says summer in Maine quite like fresh-picked berries from a neighboring farm. Stop by and say hello!

🌺 The first peony of the season has opened! 🌺

While peppers may be the stars of my garden, these faithful perennial beauties always steal a little of the spotlight each June. This deep red bloom is the first of many to come, with shades of yellow, pink, white, and more waiting in the wings.

A few fresh-cut peonies in a vase can brighten an entire room and serve as a reminder that some of the garden’s greatest gifts return year. 💕

Fresh from the oven! 🥧

A homemade strawberry rhubarb pie with a little twist—a touch of pepper jelly added to the filling for extra flavor. Sometimes the simplest changes make a favorite recipe even better.

Now comes the hard part… waiting for it to cool! 😍
