❤️ **A Dream Worth Chasing...**

A few months ago, I started making homemade cakes to help support my family while working full-time as a hospice CNA and pursuing my dream of becoming a nurse.

I never imagined this little dream would grow into what it has today.

Because of YOU, I've had the honor of making cakes for birthdays, graduations, weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, and so many other special moments. You've supported me, encouraged me, and believed in me from the very beginning.

Right now, I'm incredibly thankful to have access to commercial kitchen space inside Wayne Family Diner. Their support has allowed my little business to grow in ways I never thought possible.

Now I'm dreaming about the next chapter.

The funds raised will help me find and create a small licensed microbakery—a place where I can continue baking affordable, homemade cakes for my community while building a better future for my family.

Your generosity will help cover licensing and permits, commercial equipment such as ovens, mixers, refrigeration, work tables, shelving, and other essential baking supplies needed to create a safe, dedicated workspace.

Having a small microbakery will allow me to expand my menu, offer customers a convenient pickup location, continue keeping my cakes affordable, and grow my small business one step at a time.

📱 **Well... I finally did it!** 😂

After a lot of encouragement, I decided to give TikTok a try!

I figured... what's the worst that can happen? Maybe nobody likes my posts. Maybe I make a fool of myself. Or maybe I meet a whole new community of cake lovers!

💍 **Thinking out loud...**

I've had a few people ask if I'd ever make wedding cakes.

Truthfully, I don't have any desire to get into huge, elaborate wedding cakes with fondant, sugar flowers, or all the stress that comes with them.

But...

I'm wondering if there would be interest in **simple, elegant two-tier wedding cakes** like these.

🤍 Three layers per tier
🤍 Simple buttercream finish (smooth or semi-naked)
🤍 Light piping and/or fresh flowers
🤍 One or two cake flavors
🤍 Perfect for smaller weddings, backyard weddings, courthouse weddings, vow renewals, or couples who just want something beautiful without spending a fortune.

I'm thinking **$300-$350**, depending on flavor combinations and decorations, with **$50 local delivery**.

No promises yet—I'm just seeing if there's enough interest before I add something like this to my menu.

Would this be something you'd consider for your wedding...or would you recommend me to someone you know? I'd love to hear your thoughts! 💕

Every small business owner has those little "what if..." dreams. 💕

Mine?

I'd absolutely love to see one of my cakes make its way to Jennifer Lawrence or Millie Bobby Brown someday. And if we're REALLY dreaming... Taylor Swift. 😂

Will it happen? Probably not. But then again, a year ago I never would've imagined that so many people across Southeast Michigan would be ordering my little $20 cakes either.

This whole journey has taught me that it's okay to dream a little bigger than feels comfortable. Sometimes amazing things happen when you mix hard work, a little courage, and a willingness to put yourself out there.

So I'll keep showing up. I'll keep baking cakes, caring for my hospice patients, working toward becoming a hospice nurse, and seeing where this crazy adventure leads.

Dream a little. Work a lot. You never know what's possible. ❤️
