Delicious fresh bakery for special occasions and every day treats. Daily selection of goodies, while they last!

Wide variety available for preorder including cookies, bars, pies, breads and more, plus cakes for all occasions, or just for fun. Sweet Dream Bakery is located in the lower level of the Woodson History Center, home of the Marathon County Historical Society. Parking lot is behind the building off of Fulton Street, and the bakery entrance is through door "B" at the top of the steps.

As you know, Sweet Dreams Bakery closed permanently on 12/31/22 when the owners retired. We're happy to tell you that the Marathon County Historical Society is now leasing our former space to Sugar Haven bakery! Please support Amber and her small business just as you did ours, by liking the Sugar Haven page and ordering her delicious cakes, cookies, and other fabulous sweet treats.

Friday, December 30th will be our last day of baking before we retire. We'll be making a final batch of chocolate chip cookies that morning. Stop in to say hello (and good bye) and get your final cookie fix 🍪🍪🍪

We're winding down our last week before retiring at year end. Stop in on Thursday to get your final fix of our fabulous chocolate chip cookies and other sweet treats on our counter (while the supply lasts). We're open 6am to noon - cash or check only, no cards.

Due to the heavy snow and ice predicted for this week, it may not be safe for us to drive to the bakery and fill orders. We're working on calling those who have orders for pickup this week to let them know and reschedule pickup. If you have questions about our availability this week you should call the bakery directly at 715-842-2377 (even if we're not there we do check our messages). Stay safe, everyone!

12/14/2022 is the last day for ordering holiday cookies and other items for pickup on Christmas Eve. Our last holiday baking season before retiring at year-end has been incredibly busy, so if you need your sweet treats sooner, ORDER NOW. You can order cookies by contacting us via Facebook, stopping at the bakery, or by phone (you'll likely have to leave a message). However you order, remember to include your name, phone number, pickup date/time, and complete details of what you'd like to order. We wish you a wonderful holiday with family and friends! Thanks for supporting our little bakery for so many years :-)

We've put out more decorations, trims, and baskets for sale, as we clean things out before we retire on 12/30/22. Everything is priced to sell. Cash or check only - no cards. We're open Tuesday through Friday 6am to about noon.

REMINDER: It's time to start thinking about ordering your Thanksgiving pies and cookies. Orders for 11/23/2022 pickup must be placed by 11/18/2022. The small cookie tray has about 2 dozen cookies. Because we're retiring at year-end we're using up our supply of trays, which are all the small size. If you have a a larger order you can get multiple trays or we can box them. Remember to include your desired pickup date and time. We're open Tuesday to Friday 6am to noon. Cash or check only - no cards. Drop off your order form at the bakery or call us at 715-842-2377.

We're taking some R&R time on Friday (10/7/22) and will be closing at 11:00 am . Check out the sweet treats on our sales counter today and tomorrow, including fantastic Halloween cutouts. Usual hours are 6am to noon, Tuesday through Friday (except 10/7). Cash or check only - no cards.
