Over the years, many people have asked Melissa if she went to school for baking/cooking and her answer would be that she learned everything in the kitchen from her mom, aunts and mom’s closest friends.

This weekend, Melissa lost her mom. We are so very grateful that she was able to learn so much and document so many recipes in recent years, to be able to carry on Val’s legacy in food.

Once our kitchen reopens, we will be launching a series called “Val’s go to meals” where we will be walking you through recipes that Melissa grew up on, to share her mom’s passion for feeding people.

Due to a death in the family, we are adjusting our hours.

We will be open for Ham and Rolls and limited desserts only April 12 and April 19.

We expect to return to regular hours and menus after that but will update as we know.

Until further notice, we will only be open Saturdays and Sundays 9-2. We will continue to have breakfast, lunch and sweet treats both days along with Ham and Rolls on Sundays.

Please contact us for special orders and we will do our best to accommodate those. Any orders that have already been verified will be filled.
