Hi! I realized a lot of new people are here after the Bread Shed opening, so I wanted to introduce myself 🤍

I’m Jillian — the baker behind Lemmy Bee Bakery. I’m a home baker, wife, mom of two little girls, gardener, and a home health speech-language pathologist based here in Iowa.

What started as baking bread for my family slowly turned into baking for patients, neighbors, and friends… and eventually grew into this little bakery dream and our self-serve Bread Shed.

Lemmy Bee Bakery has become such a sweet blend of the things I love most — caring for people, creating cozy homemade food, and building community.

I’m so grateful you’re here and supporting this little dream of mine 🍋🐝

After dreaming about this for over a year, I’m so excited to finally unveil the Bread Shed from Lemmy Bee Bakery 🍞🐝

Starting tomorrow morning, fresh sourdough and baked goods will be available every Saturday at 8am right outside our home.

Tomorrow’s menu will include:
🍞 Classic sourdough loaves
🌶️ Jalapeño cheddar sourdough
🍋 Lemon blueberry sourdough
🫐 Blueberry crumble sourdough muffins

Orders are OPEN for next weekend’s porch pickup! 🐝🍞

I have to say… the lemon blueberry loaves 🍋🫐 have really been a fan favorite lately. Every time I make them, they go fast—and I get why. That bright lemon flavor with the sweet blueberries is just so good this time of year.

I’ll have those available along with my classic sourdough and a few other goodies.

If you’re wanting one, I’d grab it sooner rather than later 💛
