We may be guilty of needing coffee to function. Buttttt it always leads to a better mood. ☕️

Send this to someone who lights up the second they get their coffee. Or comment a “☕️” below if that’s you. 👀

When you hear Honey Bear, you might think of our oversized bear with his honey pot.

Maybe you assume the name was dreamed up by a branding team, generated somewhere along the way, or simply sounded right for a bakery.

The real story is a little more personal.

Brent and Michelle spent a long time trying to name the place. They went back and forth, but nothing ever really felt like them.

Until Brent suggested something that had been there all along.

He and Michelle had always had nicknames for each other: Honey and Bear.

And suddenly, the name they’d been searching for was right in front of them: Honey Bear Bake Co.

It almost sounds too simple, but that was it. Honey Bear Bake Co. was born from something that had already been part of their relationship for years.

A love for each other, a love for good coffee and food, and eventually, a little bakery in Wauchula to share it all. 🤎
