Meet Your Cake Artist
Hey, guys! My name is Hope Bejtic. I’m a wife of one, mom of three, and I love making unique, edible works of art!
The very first cakes I ever made were for my daughters. Since they were old enough to form an opinion for their cakes, they’ve demanded these amazing, elaborate cakes and had absolute confidence that their mom could pull it off. That wasn’t always the case, but I would research and learn new skills, new recipes and somehow rise to the occasion and make my kids proud. They are definitely my biggest inspiration and motivation to build my skill set and create cool cakes.
Each cake is a chance to use my creativity and learn something new, and I think that’s my favorite part of being able to do this. Making custom cakes is so much more than just baking. I realized quickly that I need skills in math, science, technology, photography, architecture, and more. Basically everything I said I’d never need to know “in real life” when I was younger! I love to test the limits of what I can do and what my clients are expecting. The best moment for me is the smile when someone sees their birthday or wedding cake. Those are memories I’ll always cherish.
