Vanessa and I have ✨EXCITING✨ news…. Twice As Sweet is closing! Today is our last day!! Some may say this is not exciting news but to US is it. ✨long post below✨
The past 10 years have been a dream and that’s what we always wanted. We always thought owning a bakery was going to be our retirement gig but we learned quickly it was going to be our full time job a lot earlier than that and we wouldn’t have changed a thing! The ONLY thing we will miss is working together everyday. For those of you that know us know we are not only sisters but best friends. This is going to be a big change for us but we both are starting new jobs and are looking forward to these new adventures. We may be FaceTime’s biggest users but that’s ok! With every dream comes new dreams and some people might not understand that but all that matters is we do.
We could talk all day about our reasons for quitting but lord knows we don’t have time for that. ✨We will be posting a “what not to do” list for you to see, in hopes that you are more considerate to your next cookie/cake person✨
There are a few people we would like to thank. We would like to thank our parents for putting up with the endless nights, endless bickering, and letting us live our dream for the last 10 years. There are no words for how grateful we will forever be for their love and support. They have been and will always be our number 1 supporters in anything we do. We would like to thank our aunts Kelly and Lisa who helped make countless bows and helped with the popups. They Always supported us in ways we will always remember. We would like to thank our friends and other family members, you know who you are. They endured endless snap chats and texts about the highs and the lows and were always there. We will cherish their love and support, always. All of these people continuously showed their support in every way, showing up to popups, ordering for their family parties, allowing us to do the desserts for their weddings, and even just reposting our Facebook posts. We couldn’t ask for better. Lastly, we would like to thank our customers. You have supported us throughout the years like we never thought possible. The smile on your faces when you saw your baked goods is what made the job one of the best. We will always be grateful for your support. I think this post is long enough and I’m tired of wiping away the tears. Thank you once again for making two girl’s dreams come true.
Love, Whitney and Vanessa
