A chocolate covered strawberry wedding cake for a local wedding, and cupcakes for the teachers in our church primary for June birthdays.

I had never dipped strawberries before and quite honestly had decided I didn’t love them. I discovered that I don’t love them when they are dipped in darker chocolate because the chocolate cracks apart and falls off. I made these with milk chocolate and they seriously melted in my mouth. We made extras and couldn’t get enough!

I had a request for a second cake the next week to look just like this one. I forgot to get a picture!

Sarah made her own cake one week so Evelyn wanted to make her own specialty the next.

Evelyn made these all by herself (with her side kick sister Amy) and named July 19th National Cinnamon roll up day!

Sarah made this cake from start to finish by herself!! It was so fun to see her creativity! She even came up with this glossing technique of sprinkling powdered sugar and painting water into it for a shiny effect!

Black Forest cupcakes I made for a special birthday.

I had never heard of Black Forest cake until I got this request. She was introduced to this while she lived in Germany while her husband was stationed there years ago. It has a cherry filling and whipped cream frosting!

Mommy & Me cupcakes Day #1 was a success!!! Last call for tomorrow’s orders AND... we’ve added LEMON cupcakes with cream cheese frosting to the menu! Red Velvet or Lemon cupcakes, cream cheese frosting, a chocolate leaf and fall colors!! 9 cupcakes for $12!
