*UPDATE: I am updating this post with links to some pages that you can donate to online!
TEAM RUBICON: Team Rubicon is a veteran led organization that responds to disasters all over. Currently they have a very generous donor willing to match donations up to $100,000!! https://donate.teamrubiconusa.org/Donation/julytexasflooding/
KERR COUNTY FLOOD RELIEF FUND: This fund supports the relief and rebuilding efforts after the July 4, 2025 flood. This is a 501(c)(3) organization and directs funds to vetted organizations to help families in need in the communities of Hunt, Ingram, Kerville, Center Point, and Comfort. https://cftexashillcountry.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=4201
SALVATION ARMY: The Salvation Army of Kerville is accepting donations as well. They are specifically asking for NON-PERISHABLE FOOD items and CLEANING SUPPLIES. You can also make donations online on their website! Just go to Kervillekroc.org and tap on donations and it will take you straight to the donation page for the flood! *
Dear friends and family of Raven’s Hearth (new name drop🫣),
Thank you so much for the love and support you’ve shown during our soft reopening. It means more than words can say.
Just as we began this next chapter, devastating floods hit Hunt, Texas—where all of my in-laws live. Our hearts have been with them, and much of my energy has gone toward helping however I can.
So yes, we are still reopening, but in light of everything, some things may move a little slower than planned. We’re still here, still baking, and still so excited to welcome you back—just with full hearts and a little more grace as we move forward.
I’m also doing what I can to support the Hunt community from here, until i can get down there. If you feel called to help, I will be accepting any donations you’d like to send down with us—supplies, essentials, or anything you think might bring comfort.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
*I included a few pictures I have seen of the area close to my inlaws… It truly is devastating and all we can do is continue to pray for these sweet families as more rain is expected*
With love,
Sarah Hendershot
