fe, but baking... baking I can do! When I was young I used to bake with box mixes but as I got older I started toiling with "from scratch" recipes. I have made countless revisions to my recipes and will not "approve" a recipe until I love it. So I started thinking, this is something that I absolutely love to do.... so why not make it part of my life?! I am looking to expand my skills and to build my portfolio. I am very much a perfectionist and I will not let a cake leave my hands until I know it is as perfect as I can make it. To me, they are like little works of art that I am giving to someone. I will also stress that my cakes are not grocery store quality, they are much more! They are bakery quality cakes. Most of my cakes are multi-layered with dimension versus the generic grocery store sheet cake. I use only premium ingredients and everything including the cake, frosting, fillings, and decorations are made from scratch. Of course if there is something non-edible or non-homemade that I can add to the cake, to make it more special, I will certainly do that too!
