Another year, another gorgeous little elopement cake 💕
The last year has been so hard for everyone, but I am loving the fact that people have been able to make the most of altered wedding plans and enjoy small, intimate gatherings with their nearest and dearest...and I absolutely love being part of these celebrations. This little cake was for a wedding at the bride’s parents house and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Pistachio cake with cardamom honey cream cheese frosting inspired by for the top layer and my signature lemon cake with lemon curd and raspberry coulis for the bottom. Harvest stencil by

Visions of a (mini) wedding cake delivery—boxed up cake and a bag stuffed with extra flowers, floral tape, piping bag of frosting, offset spatula and scissors!

As I was delivering this cake I had the thought: why are there “baby on board” signs for cars but not “wedding cake on board”??! I’d really like people to know that my driving like a granny doing everything in my power to avoid pot holes and big bumps is not my usual driving style 😂

People judge carnations but if you fluff them out, they are gorgeous and last a long time—perfect for the top of the cake! I’ve always liked them but really convinced me start using them in my cakes!

Quite possibly the best marriage advice, passed down to RBG from her mother in law. I love a good wedding, and I particularly love a good wedding dessert (obviously)! I’m so happy to be in New England so I could make these gorgeous cookies for a friend’s wedding last weekend. The little lacy hearts are my everything 😍

Life always tastes better with cheesecake ❤️
Who said cheesecake can’t be a wedding cake? The more cheesecake, the better in my opinion!
I am still so in love with this cheesecake I made for and Max’s at home wedding this spring. We ultimately put a beautiful berry sauce on top, but I love how gorgeous it looked before we covered it up. Simple, elegant and best of all, delicious!

Stressed is just desserts spelled backwards, further supporting my view that cake can solve anything 🎂
I knew we’d be in Massachusetts for my mom’s birthday so I planned to pack some cake pans and a cake board, but somewhere in the frenzy of packing we left them in DC. I forgot to order cake boards once we arrived, so I was thankful to the nice lady who have me one of theirs 🤪 I baked this cake in a sheet pan and I love the rectangular shape! White cake filled with whipped chocolate sour cream frosting and chocolates. Buttercream swirls and gorgeous flowers top it off!

I made this cake for a friend’s wedding anniversary and I’m so thrilled with how it turned out! I love the slight texture on the outside of the cake, and you know I’ll never turn down and opportunity to decorate with flowers. Simple, elegant and impactful. A winning combo!
