It is a project many years in the making, and a result of his relentless pursuit to make the kind of remarkable bread that we often remember and rarely find. He hopes to have created a true neighborhood bakery that will come to be owned by the current employees and passed on to future ones. Bread Furst will be a place where Washingtonians can pick up a beautiful loaf of bread, delight in a sweet, sip on a hot cup of coffee, and sit and chat with friends and neighbors.
