About Me:
My baking journey started as a hobby when I was a teenager. Back then, I was an amateur baker who loved to bake for friends and family. One birthday after another, I began experimenting with different flavors and desserts, often making people around me my guinea pigs. The more I baked, the more passionate I got about it. Eventually, it became clear to me that I should convert my hobby into a profession.
I enrolled for a “Bakery & Confectionery” program from a college in Mumbai that gave me first-hand experience of the professional patisserie world. After completing the program, I took up an internship, followed by a job at a reputed hotel in the city. After gaining experience, I decided to go solo and created my brand ‘Indulgence’. For 6 years, I built my brand baking cakes, cupcakes and customized desserts for all my client base. I specialize in eggless which soon made ‘Indulgence’ a preferred brand.
After marriage in 2017, I moved to the US. The transition was quite difficult for me, but the kitchen and baking provided me comfort. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s in Human Resources and working towards giving my brand a makeover under the name “Melting Muffins” to explore new avenues.
Because, no matter what I do baking is here to stay!
