Fall boxes were so much fun to make! I love anytime time I get to make homemade puff pastry. Thank you to everyone who snagged a box or rolls this weekend. It’s always so much fun baking for people.

After everything was baked and packaged I had enough left over to make two extra boxes. DM if you want to grab one off the porch! THANK YALL!

Orders are OPEN for our Fall Menu items. The items were a huge hit at Makers in September, so we thought we would open limited orders this October.

🍂Orders will be available for Porch Pick Up in Warrior or Homewood Friday 10/27 or Saturday 10/28.

🍂Orders close Wednesday Night at 9 pm.

APPLE TURNOVERS🍂

A homemade puff pastry filled with a cinnamony spiced apple filling topped with a light glaze. This puff pastry has the perfect buttery layers that you expect from a croissant. It is the ideal ratio of pastry and filling 😍

These bad boys will be on our Fall Menu that will be at our Makers Pop-Up September 23rd, the first official day of fall!

Backstory to the recipe: When we were older, my dad cooked breakfast on the weekends. One of his go to’s were the box pillsbury apple turnovers. I have vivid memories of coming down the stairs on Sunday morning for turnovers and bacon. When I think of childhood recipes, I always think of apple turnovers. This one has been a lot of fun to recreate because it’s taken several times to get it just right. It was well worth the wait!

Backstory of the recipe: The day after Labor Day, I officially prepare my house for the fall decor to arrive that upcoming weekend. I can remember being a newly wed and getting so excited to decorate the entire house with oranges and reds and pumpkins! I would clean the house and then on Saturday, I would cook a Fall inspired breakfast and make an over the top Fall inspired dinner. I am a firm believer that food can be a catalyst for traditions and memories. I hope my girls will always remember the fall flavors that pair with the new adventures the Fall season brings. This year, Maple Pecan Sticky Buns will be on our table Saturday morning. I hope they will be on yours soon!
