It took me a while to share more pictures from this past weekâs event because I was trying to find the right words to explain how incredibly scary this experience was for my anxiety, while also expressing how deeply grateful I am for every person who trusted me with it.
I didnât always experience anxiety this intensely. It used to be the kind of anxiety that came before a test or after receiving scary news. Now, it feels like anxiety rushes through my entire body at the slightest inconvenience, during overstimulation, or whenever a situation feels overwhelming.
Earlier this year, I was supposed to teach a sourdough classâand I chickened out.
But even with the anxiety, I still wanted to do this class. So I modified my plan, gave myself grace, and spent the days leading up to it actively working through everything I was feeling.
And the class went amazingly.
I met some truly incredible people, stepped outside of what felt safe, and created an experience I will remember forever.
My very first sourdough class. I did it scaredâbut I did it. đ¤
To my fellow baker baddies: You CAN do it.
Whatever âitâ is and wherever you envision your business going, take the leap. Trust yourself, trust the process, and do it. Even if you have to do it scared.
Your breakthrough may be closer than you think.
