🥐❤️ A Little Update from Mămica’s Bakery!

Unfortunately, Mămica’s Bakery will NOT be at the Perry Farmers Market tomorrow, Saturday.

Between a terrible headache, cough and chills and feeling like I’ve been run over by a bread delivery truck, I’ve decided to wave the white flour flag.

As much as I love baking and seeing all your wonderful faces, I think it’s best to keep my germs to myself and give my body some much-needed rest.

A little rain can’t keep a good croissant down! 😂🥐

Weather permitting, Mămica’s Bakery is planning to brave the rain and join you at the Perry Farmers Market tomorrow with a smaller but delicious selection of your favorites!

🥐 Fresh, buttery croissants — Plain & Dark Chocolate
🧁 Delicious fall-flavored cupcakes
🫐 Sourdough blueberry lemon scones
🍰 Homemade cake slices
🍒 Fruit bars
🫙 Homemade jams & jellies

🍲 BONUS RAINY-DAY COMFORT FOOD!
I’ll also be bringing a few frozen garlic sourdough focaccias, ready to take home, warm up, and enjoy alongside a cozy bowl of homemade soup! Because rainy days practically beg for soup and good bread! 🥖❤️

We’ll be keeping things simple, with limited quantities of freshly baked goodies!

💨 If the wind decides to get a little too enthusiastic, we may skip setting up the tent and sell directly from the back of the van instead! 🚐😂

Either way, we’ll do our best to keep the pastries dry and the smiles coming!

Today was small batch jam making day. I made the requested blackberry, blueberry and strawberry jams. But also persimmons jam, only because they are in season and I got some extra from Stephan this past Saturday.

I wonder if anyone remembers my Apple caramel cupcakes with browned butter frosting. I made for the last 3 years and is one of my personal fall favorits. I made some today and will have some tomorrow at the Perry Farmers' Market.
I will also bring some jams and jellies.
