We are officially in Tampa, FL!

We were here a week and then the hurricane hit. We have AMAZING neighbors who have helped us settle in! My first bake was my famous pound cake for them as a thank you!

When we were packing and moving, I have done research for my recipes. I have added a little tweaks here and there. I am also going to start making trial bakes for gluten free desserts. I will be posting those for a HUGE discounted price for input on how they are. I was told I needed/ had to go gluten free. When looking for desserts, there aren’t a lot of options. I would like to offer people options since I know personally it has been hard.

Since we are officially settled in, I am pleased to announce I am open for orders!! I am excited about this new journey here in Tampa!

The last two orders I will have done in Warner Robins, GA. The first one was helping my mom with hers for a General at Robins AFB and then the second one was a surprise for our two realtors down in Tampa, FL. They were so much fun to make!

I made a chocolate pudding cake with chocolate frosting. This is the first time I’ve made a sheet cake. I’ve told everyone I don’t really do cakes, because I don’t know how to decorate them. I am kind of pleased with this, but kind of not at the same time. I am going to start practicing, because I have seen very beautiful sheet cakes! I would love the achieve a beautiful one! This week is my last week at Physician’s for Women. With them merging with the hospital, I ended up quitting sooner than I had planned/ wanted. After meeting with HR for the hospital, the things we were told in the group meeting just did not sit with me. I had to do what was right for me and what my gut says. That being said… I have loved the experience and people I’ve worked with! This week before merging is going to be a tough week, so why not chocolate!!

Happy Saturday everyone! I want to say thank you for all the love and support I have received since starting my side business 2-3 years ago. I have definitely had some ups and downs with it, and most definitely had some people after me. But I feel like I have overcame a lot and learned so much every step of the way. Unfortunately, I will have to stop taking orders as of September 9th. My husband got orders and we are moving to Tampa, FL! We are extremely excited about this next step in our lives, and I am excited to see where this next step takes me with my side business. Thank you again for all your love and support and I will miss y’all!
