About Us
A bakery has been a part of this community, at this location since 1885, when the building was constructed. A Sidel family member has always been a head baker since the 1970s when Keith and Julia Sidel bought the company. In recent years, Bruce Hendershot didn't want this tradition to die and has helmed the ship as a partner/investor. The building has been completely remodeled to better serve the community and Rodney Sidel passed his love and knowledge of baking to the Hendershot family. The 14 original, Sidel family recipies, tradition, and values live on today, right here in Wapakoneta, Ohio. From our family to yours, one memory at a time.
