Custom orders doubled up = new items at the farm stand! I had a request to do my Italian herb and cheese bread as hoagie buns. ✅ The second was for sourdough blueberry bagels, and ✅! The bagels took me a couple batches to get it right, but they look 🤤. I ate one of the “ugly” bagels from the earlier batches, and the taste is so fresh and just divine! Don’t forget about our pre-orders! Order ahead of time, and I’ll set it aside for you at the bottom of the bake stand with your name on the bag, waiting just for you! 😉

are always a fun challenge! I started with sourdough blueberry bagels yesterday, but they can out super flat. Went rogue on the recipe and made my own tweaks, and they’re already looking so much better! And I had a request for my awesome Italian herb and cheese bread, but in hoagie sandwich bun size! I made a few minor tweaks to the recipe to give them extra “sandwich” strength and they are now in their second rise! If you have an idea for a custom order, shoot me a DM or comment below! ☺️

➡️Italian Herb & Cheese Bread now added to the farmstand. ⬅️ Whelp, the best laid plans of mice and men… I was so looking forward to getting back to the St. George Farmer’s Market today, but a had other plans. Hope to see you next week, St. George friends! In the meantime, you can snag some delicious bread and maple-glazed cinnamon rolls at the Beckwheat Bakery farm stand located at 122 Riverview Dr. in Wamego!

We got back from Branson at 4:30 pm yesterday, just in time to grab Elise’s school stuff and head to meet the teacher night! We had an hour off between her meeting and Sophia’s, so I pulled my Dolly out from her refrigerator slumber and gave her a 1:2:2 feed of whole wheat flour to help wake her up. She had such a thick layer of h***h on top, so I knew she was starving! By bedtime at 10:30, she hadn’t moved at all, and I feared she had died over our vacation. However, my husband Brad woke me up saying Dolly went *cray-zee* overnight! This is what I saw when I came down the stairs! ❤️
