Urban Bakery was created from a passion for sharing good food . Rooted in my French and German heritage, I believe your food is your medicine.

Sometimes we are open during the week if there is staff. We post on Facebook if we will have an item. We are working on a website and the Urbans House Restaurant is being built.

I finished my daughter’s wedding cake with a full heart, hoping every detail was just as she had imagined.

For years, these hands have baked for her. Today, they made her wedding cake—and held a little tighter to the memories.

My sweet girl, so much of my heart went into this cake. May the life you build together be filled with kindness, laughter, and lasting love.

Every layer, every swirl, every little detail—made with a mother’s love for my daughter’s wedding.

After hours of baking and decorating, it’s time to put everything in its place and watch it all come to life. My hands are tired, but my heart is full.

Designing the first cake of many for my daughter’s wedding. I’ve made so many cakes over the years, but these hold a special place in this mother’s heart.

Remember, Urban Bakery is closed this Friday, October 16, while I prepare for her special day. We’ll reopen Friday, October 23, with doors opening at 11.

Miss you all already! I look forward to welcoming you back for pastries, lunch, and something sweet.

Urban Bakery will be closed Friday, October 16, as I prepare for and cater my daughter’s wedding. We will reopen Friday, October 23, at 11 AM.

If you stocked up on bread, freeze it by Wednesday, October 14—or sooner for the best freshness. Slice it before freezing, seal it well, and take out only what you need each day.

This morning on Mornings with Lizzy, I’m making jalapeño cheddar sourdough the French way—giving each loaf two days to develop that beautiful flavor, texture, and golden crust.

Available this Friday, October 9, at Urban Bakery! Stock up on your favorites—we’ll be closed the following week while I cater my daughter’s wedding and will reopen Friday, October 23. 💙

If you need two or more loaves, please message me with your order so I can plan enough bread to keep you stocked until we return.

Friday, October 9, will be Urban Bakery’s last day open before I take a week off to prepare for my daughter’s wedding! We will reopen Friday, October 23.

If you need two or more loaves to carry you through until October 23, please message me with the types of bread and how many of each you would like. This advance-order request is only for purchases of two or more loaves, so I can plan enough bread for everyone.
