Hey cake besties!

Earlier this year I mentioned that I would slowly be cutting down on orders and eventually taking a little break... and that time has officially come! 🥲

So this post is just to let everyone know I am no longer taking any new orders for the rest of the year! If you have already reached out to me and we have talked about a date/order, then you are already on my list and ready to go! 💕

Sometimes it's good to take a little break to rest and recover so you don’t burnout and I think this is one of those times for me. I promise this is just a small break.. a lot has happened this year: an engagement 💍(im a fianceee 🥹), a new job, and new life situations so I feel like this time is the best time.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy what I do and I wouldn't ask for anything more! I love my cake besties so much, and I appreciate every single one of y'all for keeping me busy and booked. 🥹🫶🏽 But rest and recovery are important too! Doing cakes is a whole job in itself, so I truly applaud everyone who does this as a full-time business or even as a small side business because whew it can be alot sometimes.

As far as holiday orders if you've known me long enough, you know I can never make it through Halloween or Christmas without doing at least a few holiday cakes 🎃🎄 So I do plan on popping in with flash sales here and there during the holidays so keep a lookout for those!

In the comments, I will post a list of bakers! And if you have a baker, cake maker, or treat maker that you absolutely LOVE, please tag them or add them to the comments so everyone can check them out! 🫶🏽

Just have to brag on this cake for a minute because I am OBSESSED with how it turned out!

I’ll be honest, I was just a teeny tiny bit skeptical of this one at first BUT I wanted to try it so bad, and now I have to give myself a little pat on the back because SHE DID THAT! 👏

If you know any bakers (especially me), you know I am my own worst critic - I will sit there hours in and second guess myself or pick apart every little detail. But seeing this cake come together, make it safely to the event, and then seeing all of the beautiful decor they had surrounding it… I can now officially say… I AM IN LOVE.

Thankyou to my honey, she burnt her little finger with a glue gun helping me with this one 🥲 I know when she started dating me she didn’t think I’d be putting her to work for “free ninety free” BUT she is my # 1 fan & one of my “ELITE EMPLOYEEEES” (iykyk😆) 💕 she keeps me calm and focused during my busy orders - couldn’t do it without her!

and yall Taez Tanese has definitely been keeping me BUSY lately, so a HUGE shoutout to her for the inspo pictures and for trusting me to bring her vision to life!

There’s nothing better than seeing a cake go from an inspiration picture, to something I create with my own hands, and then seeing it become part of someone’s special day. 🥰

This one definitely deserves a little bragging moment.
