Grown In Grace Homestead is a small acreage near Walnut Grove, MN. I am a registered cottage food producer and have been baking since childhood as my mother was also a cottage food producer. I have been growing and preserving food for over 30 years and am a 2nd year beekeeper. I sell honey, jams & jellies as well as other home canne

d goods, farm fresh free range eggs, custom cakes and cupcakes, breads, pies and cookies as well as many more homemade baked goods. I take pride in ensuring my products are made following state guidelines.

Bridal shower cookies and assorted cupcakes.
Baptism cookies and a marble cross cake.
A 68th anniversary 1/2 sheet marble cake.

Last weeks bakes:
A fox cupcake cake with chocolate chip cupcakes and cream cheese frosting, a chicken cupcake cake and a dozen cupcakes vanilla with cream cheese frosting, and 6 dozen cupcakes in shades of purple chocolate and vanilla with cream cheese frosting and buttercream frosting.

The weeks bakes.
2 dozen cupcakes included chocolate, salted caramel, lemon and red velvet.
1 dozen mocho cakes.
A 6 inch 2 layer German chocolate cake with game of thrones theme.
A 8 inch 2 layer red velvet with gold accents. Customer added decorations later.
A August Christmas party for the Runck family with mock angelfood cake and 4 gluten free Reese’s cupcakes.
A 40th anniversary party for Mark and Jan with a mock angelfood cake and a marble cake.

Bakes for the weekend.
2 dozen Golden 5th birthday cookies for Harper.
A 6 inch round mock angelfood for Mary just because she wanted cake.
2 dozen 3 rd birthday cookies for Penelope.
A marble birthday cake for JT along with one dozen chocolate frosted raised donuts. (This was an artificial dye free order.
A red velvet cake for Paige’s 30th birthday.
4 dozen cupcakes for Elery’s birthday. They were strawberry 1/2 with pink lemonade frosting and 1/2 with cream cheese frosting. Chocolate with cream cheese frosting. Salted caramel and snickerdoodle.

The weekend bakes:
A gluten free chocolate birthday cake for a 3 year old left as a plain white frosted cake (because the need for no artificial food coloring)and his mama added some decorations. He likes fire trucks and it turned out great!
A cupcake sampler went with vanilla, chocolate, Reese’s, marble, salted caramel, strawberry, snickerdoodle, chocolate chip and cookie and cream.

The weeks bakes.
A 50th anniversary party with 5 dozen cupcakes. There were 2 dozen lemon with lemon buttercream, 1 1/2 dozen vanilla with vanilla buttercream and 1 1/2 dozen chocolate with half peanut butter and half chocolate frosting.
A 60th birthday party for Lisa with a mock angelfood cake and 2 dozen gluten free vanilla cupcakes and 2 dozen gluten free chocolate cupcakes.
Hope the parties were a blast and survived the heat!

Bakes for the week included:
3 dozen cookies for TMB school board meeting.
2 dozen cupcakes. Strawberry with pink lemonade buttercream, marble with cream cheese frost, salted caramel and vanilla with vanilla buttercream.
A mock angelfood cake for a wedding. Congratulations Jake and Vanessa!
3 dozen chocolate chip cookies, a pan of brownies and a pan of pumpkin bars(I forgot to take a picture) for a bridal shower.
And a vanilla baptism cake. God Bless Millie.
I hope everyone’s celebrations were spectacular!!

Bakes for the week:
A 6 inch 2 layer chocolate birthday cake with chocolate ganache and pecan filling.
9 dozen decorated cookies for a baby shower. Theme was “she’s ready to pop”
A birthday/retirement cake for Dee. This is a marble 1/2 sheet.
A vanilla 10 inch 50th anniversary cake. This is a remake of a design I had done before.
A marble birthday cake for Brooklyn with cream cheese frosting.
A dozen mocho cakes for a birthday party.
Hope everyone enjoyed their celebrations!!

The weeks bakes included:
A marble sheet cake with cream cheese frosting for Abby with a red, white and blue theme.
2 smash cakes, one was chocolate the other vanilla and 2 dozen cut out cookies also all red, white and blue theme. This 1st birthday party was for cousins Banks and Bryson.
If you were at the party you already know my screw up!!🫣 I renamed someone else’s child!!😬😵‍💫Bryson aka Brooks. Apparently it was not as traumatic for the customer as it was for me. Nope, I have zero clues as to why I screwed it up but I definitely did.
I am wishing Very Happy birthdays to Abby, Banks and Bryson.
