In the words of the late Joan Rivers “can we talk here?” so wanting to do a thing does not necessarily translate into being able to do a thing. So for a long while I’ve been toying with the idea of doing a 9 x 13 sheet cake size cheesecake. And I thought that an American flag design in time for the July 4 250th anniversary of this great nation would be the way to do it if I could pull it off. *Now trust me this cheesecake design is my very first attempt and it looks a lot better from a distance than it does up close! So I have a couple of questions to ask before I order some more equipment. Of course I can do 9 x 13 size in all of my flavors and they’d be a lot easier to decorate then trying to freehand an American flag design. So do any of y’all ever see yourselves ordering such a size cheesecake maybe for parties or big family gatherings? And how about this Fourth of July design because I’m not particularly confident I could do it much better than it is now. So I’m looking at a price point of $69 for my Original all the way to $89 with most of the topped cheesecakes going for about $75.99+ tax. And by the way, the American flag cheesecake is a blueberry field with strawberry stripes and marbled under the blueberry filled with blueberry filling and everywhere else it’s marbled with strawberry filling. Of course, this also has to be a cheesecake. I can never make in advance. I would have to take orders ahead of time. Please feel free to give me any input that all of my cheesecake lovers can give me.
