Front Porch Session 63: The Wickwire Family
The Wickwire Family has been enjoying this time together, for the most part! While there have been some adjustments - like figuring out how "school-at-home" will work and not distracting Daddy on all his conference calls! They moved to Denham Springs 7 months ago and have been settling into a new home and new school for the boys. Pearce is in 4th grade, Reid is in Kindergarten and Brandt just turned 2 years old this past Saturday. They have been busy with school work, Zoom classroom meetings, riding bikes, playing basketball and Legos, coloring with sidewalk chalk, video games, eating everything they lay their eyes on and anything else they can think of!
Stephen has been working from home which has been quite a feat for him - especially with them trying to keep 3 young boys quiet for conference and video calls all day long, making runs for food and helping with house work since it's magnified with everyone home! The boys enjoy seeing him during the day when he comes out for snacks or lunch during the day!
Miranda has been busy learning how to do 4th grade subjects, balancing meals, snacks, loving on each boy and refereeing the boys while working on her Pampered Chef parties that have picked up now that people have started cooking at home more and realizing which items their kitchens are lacking!
It has definitely taken a lot of adjustment from everyone being together ALL DAY, EVERY DAY, but their family has had so much growth and they've really seen God do some amazing things to make them happier and stronger as a family. Before, they were so busy and stretched in so many directions - probably way more than God ever intended!
They have enjoyed supporting their aunt, Tammy Holland Graham, who owns Sweet Designs by Tammy; their friends, Jeffrey Holifield and Kate Robbins Holifield, by eating at Chick-fil-A ; and other local businesses during this time by eating at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill, and Carter's Supermarket. Miranda says, "They are so thankful for Danielle's willingness to take these amazing photos of their family and look forward to having her do some more family pictures when that is allowed again!" 😊 They've also kept local Door Dash drivers busy with deliveries of groceries for their hungry boys! They are ready to get out and start shopping in more local stores as soon as possible! Thank you for loving local! I appreciate it!

1. We are NOT taking on any new subs at the moment. We went into a sub today and not one person came. (Not even the one that requested us) we can’t do that again so we are only going to be going into the subs we have previously been in. We have not had any... like not even ONE issue since day one of quarantine until this week so we have decided that we need to stay in the locations we have been for right now. Thank you for understanding!
2. IF we have been to your sub already and y’all would like us to come back... you can drop us a comment below! (We have the whole list but this lets us know you’re ready for us 🥰
