Today is the day to head over to Walden, NY! Enjoy the Walden Harvest Fest in the square and come see me for my LAST DAY open at the storefront! It’s very bittersweet but I am SO EXCITED for what’s to come! The opportunities that have been presented to me since I announced the closing of the shop were very unexpected but have made me so confident in my decision to close and more grateful than I could ever explain! I hope you’re all ready for the things I have up my sleeve for the future and thank you all for your endless support and positivity! ♥️

As a local small business, when the economy changes, we need to learn how to change and grow with it. In order for me to better serve all of you, I had to make some hard decisions that will allow me to keep the business going. With that being said, I will no longer have a storefront starting in October. Although I won’t be able to accept walk ins, this will give me more time to dedicate to special orders, flash sales, vendor events and being more present in the community!

While I’m posting about this, I thought it would be a good opportunity for me to bring some awareness to the struggle of owning a small business with the way the world is right now. Be patient. Business is slow for so many and that affects everything. Product is extremely expensive, so if it’s not selling and has to be thrown out or donated, hours have to be cut. People are closing a lot more during the week and this is exactly why. It is impossible to be open when the business isn’t coming in. And I don’t know about other business owners, but this really affects my mental health. It’s not easy spending so much time making a great product, just to sit around all day waiting for someone to come in because no one has the disposable money to spend. The way the economy has changed is just not in the best interest of small businesses and we as a community are the only ones that can keep the small businesses alive! So get out there and support your people! And please don’t be upset about the storefront era ending. This new chapter is going to be even more extravagant and I have a good feeling that you’re all going to love it!

My last day having the store front open will be Saturday 9/28 which is the same day as Walden Harvest Fest! So come see me and let’s go out with a bang! 💥
