This weekend, I had a very important order from a client who wanted a double layer chocolate cake with an order of 36 vanilla cupcakes topped with american buttercream frosting. The client was celebrating her 2nd birthday and just so happens to be my daughter! The cake was a big hit! She even smashed her own face in it! 😂 very grateful to have been able to create yummy dessert for her birthday! 😊

Teachers work so incredibly hard, especially this time a year with the holidays and state testing! I made soft molasses cookies dipped in chocolate, for the teachers at the school my husband teaches at. These cookies have got to be in my top 3 of the treats I make! They are always requested by family and friends!

I hope everyone has a family filled and relaxing holiday season!

I had the privilege of making some cake pops and chocolate chip cookies for an amazing nonprofit called jems2jewels! They give girls age 7-16, amazing opportunities in community service, programs focusing on skill development, creating friendships and community. They had their Christmas party and asked for a mix of pink and Christmas for the cake pops. I had so much fun with this order! If you’re looking for any treats for your upcoming holiday activities, let me know!

This has been the weekend of firsts! Started out the weekend by stress baking a chocolate sourdough Bundt cake. I don’t know about you, but when I’m stressed, the only thing that will cure me is something gooey and smothered in chocolate 🤤

Then, I spent Saturday afternoon baking cream puffs for the first time. Sunday is my mom’s birthday and per her request, I attempted to bake these delicate little puff balls. Now, are they my prettiest creation? Not in my opinion. BUT, I now have the itch to perfect them. Sorry to my family, but you will be seeing a lot more cream puffs in your near futures 😁

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend and final week before Thanksgiving!
