It’s been a longggg time… and I’ve missed you all so much.
So much has happened since we closed our doors, and I’ve been meaning to share this journey with you. To tell the full story, I have to go back to the moment I made the difficult decision not to move forward with another location, that will need to be in my next post.
Sometimes, pressing forward with all your might can actually be disobedience to God. And winning at all costs? That can look a lot like losing. I needed to pause—really pause—and assess where I’d been, where I was, and where I was going.
In the space between “then” and “now,” I’ve had the opportunity to work on some pretty incredible projects, all while tackling a significant amount of business liability (aka debt). It hasn’t been easy. In fact, this season has been gut-wrenching, exhilarating, life-changing, and, most of all, restorative.
My relationship with Jesus has deepened in ways I can’t fully describe, and for that, I am profoundly grateful.
To those of you holding gift cards—don’t toss them! I’m working on something that will allow you to redeem them in meaningful ways.
And to each of you who’s sent a message, offered encouragement, or cheered me on from afar—thank you. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, and I’ve felt your love every step of the way.
