It’s been quiet here lately, so here’s a quick update! 🤍

I had knee surgery at the beginning of September and, as of now, I’m still using crutches and not quite able to get back to baking yet. I’m doing well, but I’ve learned very quickly that standing in the kitchen for hours making cookies is definitely not an option right now. 😂

So for now, I’m easing back in slowly! I’m hoping to put out one last batch of fall treats at The Book Dragon toward the end of this month before making way for all things Christmas. 🎄

Fresh treats are stocked at The Book Dragon today through Wednesday, while supplies last!! 🍂🎃

With the amazing help of Jack Rougeau, we spent all evening yesterday baking, and there's a great variety available for y'all.

Available in singles and boxes, we have:
🍪 Chocolate Chip Cookies
🍪 Snickerdoodle Cookies
🍪Mini Pumpkin Bread Loaves
🍪 One of Each Treat Boxes

All treat boxes are $12 this time only!!

To keep this batch simple, I left the frosted sugar cookies off the menu this time but you'll see them again soon!

The Book Dragon is open today until 5PM. Go grab your favorite fall treats while they're there! 🍂🎃

That's a wrap on the September drop! 🍂

Thanks so much to everyone who supported me this month, whether that was ordering treats, sharing a post, or following along with all the fall baking.

The September orders might be done, but I'm not finished with this menu just yet!! Keep an eye out at The Book Dragon and on my page for some extra treats while supplies last. 🍪🎃

Orders will be available at The Book Dragon during the following pickup windows:

Friday, September 18: 12:00–5:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 19: 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Please plan to pick up during the date and time selected with your order.

Preorders close tonight at midnight, and once they’re gone, Genevieve’s Sweet Treats will be taking a short break until November.

Order a box for yourself, choose a dozen of your favorite, or try all four September treats in the One-of-Each Box.

Pickup is September 18th from 12PM-5PM and September 19th from 10AM-2PM at The Book Dragon.

Exhibit A: what happens when you have a bakery drop planned three weeks after knee surgery 😂

I spent the week before surgery prepping and freezing as much as humanly possible so September could still happen without me trying to run around the kitchen on one functioning leg.

Everything is prepped ahead, but the cookies still won’t be baked until within 24 hours of pickup, so everyone will still be getting the same fresh treats as always. 🍪

The September Drop will be my last one before a short October break, then I’ll be back in November with a fresh seasonal menu. 🍂

Every seasonal menu needs one treat that doesn’t need an introduction. 🍪

This is the cookie people come back for: generously sized, loaded with chocolate chips, and just as good tucked into a variety box as it is ordered by the dozen.
