We currently have an overstock of chickens that are off of the heat lamp so they are easy peasy. They require no additional care as far as the heat lamp goes. Perfect time to get them.

Want to have healthy chickens? Give them apple cider vinegar.

ACV has natural antibacterial and antibiotic properties along with many other beneficial properties that will keep bad bugs from developing in your flock. It also helps protect chicks from developing pasty butt which is when f***s build up around their vent.

ACV is one of the staples I use with all my birds. I highly recommend it.

Make sure it is unpasteurized and with the mother. We recommend Braggs.

For chicks give them a 1-2 tablespoon in their water with each refill. For grown chickens just pour a bit in their water twice a month.
