Good Morning Friends. It's been a minute since we visited. There have been quite a few things happening at Vela Farms.

I had a decision to make. As I have posted before in a video, I'm teaching myself AI. I've written 3 programs that help in my day to day business. It's been a series of re-writes because every version I'm learning something new and fine tuning it. I'm on version 3 right now and it's great so far.

I was contacted by a AI company to be featured as a series about AI. I explained to them that I had not created my system with their AI, but I would test it and see if it could duplicate what I had already done. In the beginning it did, but then, the wheels fell off. It as terrible. I spent 16 hours over the past few days trying desperately to make it work. It didn't and couldn't.

The decision was, do I do the interview with this world known company and get national coverage promoting their product? Or did I cancel the interview and tell them their product was not what it is advertised as? Possibly making this company angry at me and loosing an opportunity to "crow" about being chosen and featured on this segment that would be published nationally?

What did I do? I cancelled the interview, cancelled the photo shoot, and politely told them that I could not replicate my programs on their platform. I could not endorse something that I don't 100% believe in.

I'm telling this story, because it feels good to hold to your beliefs and not compromise. My hope is that they will ask why? And let me help them make the system better for small businesses. In the meantime, I will keep refining my system with the hopes of launching it to help small business, cottage law, and other food related companies manage their businesses more efficiently.

Oh yeah, I got a great new gimble (the thing that steadies your videos), I'm learning to use that too. So more videos are coming soon.!
