Hey, hello , how are ya ?! Just wanted to pop in a let you all know I’ve decided to do a name change for my small business. This has been something in my heart for 2 years now and it’s been evident NOW more than ever that it’s time.
Chalk of the town is now
Covered in Grace
This name change for me is so much more , it tells the story of how it all began with Grace, and more importantly, where God is leading me.
In 2012, my daughter Ava Grace was born, after 3 amazing boys we had prayed for her and she was the cherry on top, no other name fit her better. Thats when I began making chalkboards for her monthly milestones, just a mama wanting to create something special to capture those sweet moments. Then ppl began asking me to make them for them and it’s always been just a side thing that lets me get my creativity out. From those chalkboards came Chalk of the Town. (That name I never really liked but it went with what I was doing)
As the years went by and birthdays and celebrations came and me being the diy mom that I am I started making treats for my kids parties/ graduations . What began as something I enjoyed doing for my own family slowly grew into creating special things for others, too. I find myself looking back and realizing that none of this happened by accident. With every new season, God has shown me new gifts He’s placed in my hands, most recently learning Im decent at painting . So as my creativity continues to grow, it feels only right that my business grows with it.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Chalk of the Town over the years, whether you’ve placed an order, shared a post, recommended me, or simply encouraged me. You have been part of this story. 🥹💕 Here’s to a new chapter, new creations, and following wherever He leads.
