Late night packaging for this week's orders. Years ago I could only dream of such a thing. I still pinch myself occasionally that this is reality 🥹

You know what you're doing when you support small home businesses? You're paying for my 11 yearold's next pair of shoes because he's growing faster than I can keep up with and can only keep 1 pair of shoes and 1 pair of sandals that fit him at a time. You're helping us replace the vacuum hose that developed some breaks the past quarter. You're helping pay for my 4 yearold's haircut that he desperately needs ( 🤣)

It's a little way I can contribute to help our household. It's not much, but it certainly helps ❤️ Thankful for all the support and for all my regulars 🥰

I promise I'm still around!! First week baking after the holiday break. It's a process trying to get the homeschool semester off the ground and working around it for my baking. I'm very thankful we've found a decent grove 🥰

I also invested in some new loaf pans which have allowed me to start baking 6 loaves at a time instead of my previous three. I'm thrilled with how the first batch came out 🤩🙌🏼

When your last batch of bread for the week needs 525g of sourdough starter..... 🤣😅😬🫣

Yes I like to live on the edge 😆

Yes, that's enough starter left in the scrapings to feed and make more from. Just add water and stir or shake to dissolve and feed with flour per usual. It takes a little longer to double because it's such a low starter ratio, but it'll be extra strong after a nice big feed anyway!

Expanding and rebranding!!

Does this mean cookies are gone for good? Absolutely not! But when you have a feral preschooler (IYKYK) while homeschooling three other grade levels, you learn to embrace the ebbs and flows of the season you're in, and make your business work for you, not the other way around.

I've been offering sourdough for over a year now, and I'm excited to offer all the different goodies under one umbrella! 🥰😍

Currently I am baking on a weekly basis, with some weeks off in between. I offer a preorder menu for the week on Wednesdays and Thursdays for Saturday evening and Sunday pickups. Traditional sourdough bread is always on the menu, a couple of fun flavors get rotated, and sometimes I like to throw a variety of other goodies like seasonal muffins, granola, crackers etc into the mix.

Keep a lookout for the next preorder! 🤩
