Did you know the macaron actually has Italian roots? 🇮🇹

Long before it became a Parisian icon, the original almond cookie was brought to France from Italy in the 16th century by Catherine de’ Medici.

That history means a lot to me — not just as a baker, but as someone with Italian heritage. That’s why I always use the Italian meringue method when making my macarons — a nod to where it all began. ✨

You’ll also notice the Florence fleur-de-lis in my logo. It’s more than a design — it’s a symbol of my family’s connection to Italy and the traditions I carry into every batch I bake.

Baking isn’t just a craft — it’s a story. And mine starts in Italy. 💛🇮🇹
