Seasons Greetings, friends! No cookie boxes this year - I'm doing something extra special this holiday season: Christmas Stollen!

Stollen (pronounced SHTOH-len, not stolen!) is a German fruit bread I grew up eating only at Christmas time. To me, it is pure Christmas magic. It takes a minimum of four days to make, and has 24 ingredients, including dried cherries and dark and golden raisins that have been soaked in rum, candied lemon, lime, and orange peel, candied ginger, toasted almonds and spices, and two sticks of butter per loaf! The aroma and flavors of stollen instantly transport me back to Christmas as a kid, the joy, magic, and love. I am really excited to share these with you!

Christmas Stollen is $28 per loaf. Loaves are about 1.5lbs and can be cut into at least 12 pieces. They last indefinitely (but they won't!). Orders are open now and you can pick up in Verona next week, Monday 12.18 - Friday 12.23, 12pm-7pm. Message me here or at 608.338.6947 to place your order!

📣📣📣 Big News, Everyone! Salty Batch Bakery will be at the Waunakee Makers Market this Saturday, June 4th, from 3-6pm! After working many events like this in my years as a hospitality professional, I am indescribably stoked to have my own table, selling my own food! Items available will include:
∆ tahini chocolate chunk banana muffins
∆ white chocolate, macadamia nut, tart cherry cookies
∆ cream cheese stuffed red velvet cookies (❗❗❗)
∆ maybe one or two more things if I can pull it off!

I'd be so happy to see all your faces and stuff 'em with sweet (and salty!) treats!

I feel so privileged to be able to contribute to people's milestone events in such a meaningful way. Mollie just graduated from UW with her master's in social work, and requested a vanilla cake with orange marmalade and raspberry, and I really wanted this cake to be a celebration of all her hard work. Congratulations, Mollie! What an amazing accomplishment!

Leftover shortbread dipped in leftover dark chocolate and topped with Maldon and leftover candied ginger. The things that end up delighting me the most -the morsels I eat in bed at night- are the little odds and ends of projects and ideas. 💫
