🌿 New Product! 🌿
After spending so much time working in the garden this summer, I finally decided to make something I've wanted to create for a long time.
Introducing Garden Bug Away Balm! 🦋🌿
This balm is made with a slow infusion of catnip, lemon balm, lavender, rosemary, yarrow, and spearmint in olive and coconut oil, then blended with local beeswax into an easy-to-use push-up tube.
I wanted something simple, botanical, and easy to toss into a purse, backpack, or gardening basket before heading outside.
As with everything I make, each tube is handcrafted in small batches using thoughtfully chosen herbs, many grown right here in Vernonia!
I can't wait to hear what you all think! 💚

This weekend! 🌿✨

I'm so excited to be part of Hughtopia Indoor Plant Nursery's 1-year anniversary celebration this Sunday!

If you've never visited Hughtopia, it's one of my favorite local spots, filled with beautiful plants, wonderful people, and the kind of cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile.

I've been busy restocking shelves and preparing for the event, and I'll be bringing a full selection of my handcrafted herbal products, including:

I’m so excited to share that I’ll be set up at Hughtopia Indoor Plant Nursery on June 14th from 1–4 PM for their 1 year anniversary celebration! 🌿

If you haven’t visited Hughtopia yet, it’s truly one of my favorite local spots. Such a beautiful plant selection and such a lovely space.

I’ll be bringing my usual Whole Hearted Kitchen wares:

• botanical oils
• soaps

Plus a few extra handmade things this time:

• handcrafted wands ✨

I’ll also be offering gluten-free breads and gluten-free sourdough by pre-order only for event pickup.

One of my favorite products to make has been my Soothe + Renew Balm. 🌿

This balm was created for delicate, dry, or environmentally stressed skin and is packed with slow-infused botanicals traditionally valued for their calming and nourishing qualities.

Made with calendula, chamomile, green tea, lavender, thyme, basil, oregano, sage, and fenugreek, it’s designed to bring gentle botanical comfort wherever your skin needs a little extra care.

It shares some of the same herbs as my face balm, but this formula is in a much richer and more deeply nourishing avocado oil. I personally love using a small amount around my eye area, neck, and chest, especially when my skin feels dry or tired. It’s also wonderful for dry patches, hands, elbows, and weather-stressed skin.

Because it’s a heavier, ultra-nourishing balm, it may feel too rich for acne-prone areas or some facial skin types.

Everything is still made in small batches with a lot of care, intention, and respect for the plants.

I’ve realized I’ve gained a few new followers on here lately, so I wanted to say hi, and also apologize that I’m definitely much more active on TikTok than Facebook. 😅

Behind the scenes, I’ve been working hard updating packaging and growing Whole Hearted Kitchen from a little side passion into a real business, and I’m so excited to finally start sharing more here too. 🌿

One of the newest updates is the refreshed packaging for my Herb Relief Balm!

This balm is made with comfrey, lavender, rosemary, dead nettle, cinnamon, and now wildcrafted pineapple w**d, a botanical relative of chamomile traditionally valued for its calming qualities.

It’s designed to bring gentle warming comfort to areas that feel tense, tight, or overworked, and now comes in an easy push-up tube for mess-free application.

Everything is still small-batch, thoughtfully crafted, and rooted in traditional herbal practices — just with a fresh new look. 🤍
