Good Morning Ventura! Looking for a fun cooking project for the weekend? Home-made (and "cheater") Cronuts! Cheaters because you start with purchased puff pastry dough (I've seen it in the store so hopefully this won't create a sell-out situation over the weekend!) Tried them out a couple of times and results amazing. Lots of recipes online but all about the same - just google "can I make cronuts from puff pastry" and you are there!.

Sunflowers On The Square tips:
🌻Use vegetable oil and not canola or olive or any other substitute.
🌻Make sure the oil is medium-high and hot but not too hot.
🌻We added chocolate to buttermilk glaze and sprinkles sometimes, and sea salt sometimes, and... the variations are endless!

Good Morning Ventura! This baker is hooked and loves our new entry into the Sourdough Bread Market - Little Loaves and Boole's. Ventura Farmers Market (Downtown) this Saturday and Pacific View Mall Farmers Market on Wednesday's. Have now sampled and shared the Sourdough Rye, the English Muffin, and the apple Cinnamon English Muffin - all so good! Looking forward to grabbing a baquette next time. They sell out quick so go early and support Dustin and Emily as they share their talents for breadmaking and love in our community!
