Hi friends! It feels like the perfect time to reintroduce myself. I’m Kayla, but most people here know me as “Kake,” a nickname my big sister gave me that stuck and eventually became the heart behind this bakery.
Right now, life is a lot. I’m a full-time college student, working, and running Kake’s all at once, which can definitely feel overwhelming some days & I might disappear but I’m always ready to bake. Every time I get to create a custom cake or a fun treat for someone, it reminds me why I do this. I love baking, but I also really love connecting with people, hearing your stories, celebrating your milestones, and sharing a little sweetness along the way.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll usually find me traveling whenever I can, curled up with a good book, or spending time with my family and friends who have been my biggest supporters from the start 🫶🏽.
This bakery is such a special piece of me, and I’m so thankful for every order, like, comment, and message. Your support means more than you know and keeps me excited for everything that is still to come.
