Help Us Build The Loaf Bakery
Hi friends, We are Anna and Ivan, the heart behind The Loaf Bakery in Vancouver, Washington. For the past two years, we’ve been baking fresh sourdough bread and croissants, constantly learning and improving our craft. Our journey started by giving bread away for free on the Nextdoor app, then moved to selling from a small tent in our apartment parking lot and participating in local events. Step by step, we’ve built a community of people who love what we do.
Now, our dream is bigger: to open a real bakery of our own — a cozy, welcoming space where you can stop by for fresh bread, pastries, and coffee.

⸻ Why We’re Fundraising Building a bakery takes more than passion. We need help to cover big expenses such as:
• Permits & Licenses (to meet all legal requirements)
• Professional Equipment (ovens, mixers, proofing cabinets)
• Space Build-Out Costs (turning a storefront into a bakery) Unfortunately, loans and credit are not available to us right now, so we are relying on the support of our community.

⸻ Our Story Ivan currently works full-time as a truck driver. Even after long hours on the road, he comes home and bakes late into the night to make sure everything is ready for our customers. Baking is what excites him most — and our goal is to allow him to fully dedicate himself to this passion. We believe that with your support, we can turn this dream into a reality.

⸻ How You Can Help Every dollar brings us closer to opening the doors of our bakery. Whether it’s $5, $50, or $500, your contribution makes a real difference.
