This is my day in and day out crew.

We work and play together! We work hand in hand. Side by side. Line upon line. Line upon line. I pour Life into my children. I am their mother. I nurture them and daily learn them (and by default, I learn a chunk about myself)!

We love what we do here. We love baking for YOU... and getting to eat any leftovers 😉 Every time I get an order, my kids get a math lesson. Bet you didn't realize you were teaching my kids 😂

Every time we send out or deliver an order, my kids ask, "Can we go to Godfather's today?"

This Saturday (April 15th) is Fish Day at South Town Feed in Van Buren. I'll have a Pop-up Shop there. We'll be offering:

Freshly squeezed lemonades 🍋
Sourdough bread loaves 🍞
Chocolate chip cookies 🍪
& Cupcakes 🧁

I'll have a Pop-up Shop one Saturday a month at South Town Feed. This is our first Saturday.

Come out and see us!

NEW food item alert!

Homemade plant based cupcakes.

*both with buttercream icing

Ok, ok, FINE! There's powdered sugar & butter in the icing, oil & more sugar in the cupcake. But the food coloring I use is a plant based powder. Plus, sugar comes from a plant 🌿

If you don't buy it, well I won't either. But I will eat it.

I'll eat a lot. Like all of it. I'm not kidding.

Don't forget your bread, butter, & buttermilk. You'll want it come Saturday morning. This afternoon. Or Friday night.

Let's be honest, bread & butter are good any time of day!

Our honey cinnamon butter is made with our butter and the honey with the honeycomb is from the bees 🐝 that Matt Jackson raises.

The honey 🍯 is made right in our back yard. Not really. But very close. Honey is even more beneficial for you when you get it from your own location. The honeycomb, however, is where the main source of nutrients are.

My kids aren't particularly fond of eating the honeycomb. It's chewy & sticky. But they eat it and I LOVE it!

I made butter this morning but only brought the fresh buttermilk into the shop. Will have more flavored butter at the shop later this week!

Sourdough bread and fresh butter.

One of life's bests!

Both will be at our shop today. Here's what you do after you buy a loaf of bread and a container of butter:

Set the oven to 150 (or your lowest setting)
Warm the loaf all the way through (about 20 mins)
Serve with supper

-or-

Cut into slices
Toast each piece
Immediately slather with butter

I, personally, slather with butter and local honey 🍯

Yum.
