This one was such a fun and unique cake to create for a book club! Each book spine represents a book they’ve read together, making this cake a little edible scrapbook of their reading adventures. 💕📖

💕 Meet the Baker 💕

Hi! 👋🏻 I’m Mare! The baker, decorator, order taker, dishwasher, ingredient shopper, photographer, customer service rep, and probably 17 other jobs behind Mare’s Sweet Tooth. 😂🧁

What started as a love for baking has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of. I absolutely LOVE getting to take someone’s idea and turn it into something they can actually see, share, and celebrate with the people they love. 🥹🎂

A few things about me:

✨ I’m a mom, so I know just how special birthdays and celebrations are.
✨ I’m a little bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my work. 😅
✨ I genuinely love the creative side of baking, give me a theme and let me run with it!
✨ I’m constantly learning, experimenting, and finding ways to make my treats even better.
✨ And yes… my kitchen is basically my second home. 😂

Every order that comes through my page is more than just another cake or box of treats to me. It’s someone trusting me to be a small part of their celebration, and I don’t take that lightly. ❤️

Can we just take a moment… 🥹

These two cakes are about 4 years apart, with almost the same theme.

The cake on the left was made with the skills and knowledge I had at the time, and I was proud of it. Fast forward four years of practice, late nights, trial and error, and hundreds of cakes later… and the one on the right is what I can create today.

Sometimes it’s hard to see your own growth when you’re living it every day. Looking back like this reminds me how far I’ve come, and I’m so thankful to everyone who’s trusted me with your special moments along the way. 💕

This Shrek-inspired birthday cake was such a fun one to create! 🌿✨ Complete with a muddy swamp, lily pads, cattails, mushrooms, and everyone’s favorite grumpy ogre peeking out to celebrate! 🧅😂

🍰 Inside: Chocolate cake with German chocolate filling, finished with chocolate buttercream and wrapped in custom wood grain fondant.
